Primary Care // Ethos Journal
Editorial illustration for the Ethos Journal about the future of health care - the article raises a lot of interesting issues, well worth the read. You can download the latest issue here, although I don’t think issue 17 (which features my illustration) is out yet! Although issue 16 features a tonne of talented illustrators, so well worth the look anyway!

Today I will take a stroll down the hallway where many famous ghosts are remembered. It is my little tradition at work to walk the gallery before a big game. Tonight the Canadiens could sweep the first round of the play-offs.

Breaking bread on two occasions with friends and family on the weekend ; There is nothing that makes me happier than sharing a meal (music is a close second). I could eat anything, as long as we laugh, drink and are sharing news about our lives, both photos posted had really great food with all the trimmings.

Probably the most disappointing bottle of wine I have bought in a long time, I ended up cooking with it, and yes it contains Sulphites, I should have read the label. I love American wine especially jammy reds from Washington state or Oregon, but this was so not what I was expecting, I felt like it was an episode of Kids in the Hall, doing the skit “Girl Drink Drunk” , the only glass I could stomach, should have had a little cocktail umbrella as a garnish.

Having the right tools makes a difference, especially as a novice, it can make or break any process. Wooden kitchen tools are by far superior with non-stick, metal tongs are great with cast iron casseroles, glass and metal pans and lots of great old kitchen rags, that absorb well.
